A team from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar visited the areas of Sikanderpur, Mubarakpur, and Allawalpur to encourage literacy and improve the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) among rural students. The team interacted with students, parents, and local residents to spread awareness about the importance of higher education, skill development, and career opportunities. Special emphasis was laid on motivating girls to continue their studies and encouraging families to support education equally for all children. Guidance regarding scholarships, educational pathways, and future career opportunities was also shared with the villagers. Educational awareness material was distributed to promote literacy and participation in the education system. The initiative received a positive response from the community and successfully promoted educational awareness in the area.
