A team from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar visited the areas of Khanke, Alampur Bakka, Jhande Sarai, Boparai, Saria, and Alampur to encourage literacy and improve the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) among rural students. The team interacted with students, parents, school authorities, and village representatives to spread awareness about the importance of higher education, scholarships, skill development, and career opportunities. Students were guided regarding subject choices, academic growth, and future educational pathways. Special emphasis was laid on motivating girls to continue their studies and encouraging families to support equal educational opportunities. Educational awareness material was also distributed among villagers to promote literacy and educational participation. The initiative received a positive response and successfully promoted educational awareness among rural youth.
