Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) setting up a monumental benchmark in higher education,  has made the complete integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) embedded curriculum across all its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Aimed at making students globally competitive, this trailblazing initiative ensures that every student, regardless of their stream—Arts, Science, Commerce, or Technology—graduates with robust, practical AI literacy to excel in a rapidly evolving job market. To seamlessly drive this structural overhaul, KMV also organised an extensive Faculty Development Program (FDP) ensuring its educators are fully equipped to anchor this new era of technological learning. Recognising that AI is no longer exclusive to computer science, KMV’s newly embedded modules introduce industry-centric concepts into standard course pathways. The curriculum is meticulously crafted to move away from rigid, lecture-based learning to an application-oriented pedagogy rooted in real-world case studies. Whether it is using AI-powered automation tools for economic forecasting in Commerce, leveraging advanced algorithms for research in Sciences, or evaluating the ethics of automated data processing in Humanities, KMVites are being prepared to navigate a workspace heavily integrated with smart tech. Ahead of rolling out the embedded syllabus, KMVconducted an intensive Faculty Development Program. The masterclasses were spearheaded by Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi Director, KMV, who served as the primary resource person. During the technical sessions, the faculty members received hands-on training on modern, state-of-the-art AI software. Educators were trained to safely use these tools to enhance lesson planning, personalise student assessment criteria, automate administrative workflows, and conduct data-driven academic research.
