Kanya Maha Vidyalaya(Autonomous) has always been committed to the holistic development of its students, acknowledging that true education extends far beyond academic achievements. Upholding this vision, PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration organized a Webinar on Angel Investment/ VC Funding Opportunities with the aim of equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of Angel Investment and Venture Capital (VC) funding opportunities, The resource persons for the webinar were CA Mridul Mogla and CA Diksha Khatter, who provided valuable insights about various avenues of entrepreneurial finance. CA Diksha Khatter discussed the role of Angel Investors and Venture Capital funding in supporting startups and emerging businesses. CA Mridul Mogla elaborated on various MSME schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, highlighting their relevance for aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses. A practical overview of the MSME/Udyam Registration process was also provided, guiding the participants about the online registration procedure and explaining the importance of obtaining Udyam Registration for accessing various government benefits and schemes. He also emphasized that the MSME/Udyam Registration process is completely free of cost and can be completed online without paying any registration fee. He also highlighted the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), particularly emphasizing the opportunities and benefits available for women entrepreneurs to encourage self-employment, entrepreneurship, and employment generation through financial assistance for setting up new micro-enterprises. The interactive session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which the resource persons aptly addressed various queries raised by the students. Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, commended the dedicated efforts of PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration for acquainting the students with start-up financing and Government-sponsored schemes.
