The Faculty of Sciences at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, in collaboration with the Punjab Academy of Sciences, celebrated National Science Day to honor the legacy of C. V. Raman. The event was graced by Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi and distinguished guests including Dr. N.R. Dhamiwal, M. C. Sidhu, A. S. Ahluwalia, and Dr.Niranjan Singh.The celebration featured expert lectures, a poster-making contest, reel-making competition, and a science quiz to foster creativity and scientific temper. Prof. A.S. Ahluwalia delivered a thought-provoking talk on biodiversity conservation, while Prof. M.C. Sidhu shared fascinating insights into plant sciences. The event successfully inspired curiosity and strengthened scientific awareness among students and faculty.
