Computer Club celebrates Eco-Friendly Diwali Celebrations Back

56 students participated in PowerPoint and Poster Making Competitions held under the domain of Computer Club, the theme was Eco- Friendly Diwali.Different activities like poster making and power point presentation were organised by Computer Club of KMV with the aim of spreading the message of celebrating green and pollution free Diwali. Through their posters, the students created awareness about celebrating the festival of Diwali by keeping the environment clean, free from firecrackers, and also shared information about various ways of celebrating eco-friendly Diwali through power point presentations. In the poster making competition, Ms. Meghdeep stood first, Deepali second and Khushi Sharma third, while Jasmeet Kaur, Kritika and Harnoor got first, second and third position respectively among the collegiate students. Along with this, Meghdeep got first place, Tanusuman and Khushi jointly got second and Sukhnandan and Rama Minhas jointly got third position in power point presentation competition. While congratulating all the winning students.

Madam Principal Prof. Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended best wishes to the staff members and students on the occasion of Diwali. While addressing everyone, she talked about celebrating this festival with peace and mutual love, while expressing concern regarding environmental pollution, she also appealed everyone to celebrate a pollution-free eco-friendly Diwali. She also wished that this festival of lights brings joy, success and prosperity in everyone’s life. She lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana, Head, PG Department of Computer Science and Dr. Ravi Khurana, Incharge, Computer Club for successfully organising the event.
