Dr. Gopi Sharma from the P.G. Department of Physics has been selected for the esteemed NEPHEWS TNA Programme, an international research initiative being conducted in Hungary. This achievement reflects the growing global recognition of the institution’s academic excellence and research strength. The programme, offers an opportunity to collaborate with internationally renowned scientists and access advanced research infrastructure. Dr. Sharma has also been awarded 1150 Euro to support travel and accommodation. Dr. Sharma’s research, titled “Investigating the Correlation Between THz Properties and Glass Structure Using Neutron Diffraction,” focuses on understanding the relationship between terahertz (THz) properties and the structural characteristics of glass materials. The study holds significant potential in the fields of photonics, advanced materials, and communication technologies. The Director, Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi also congratulated Dr. Sharma, stating, “This prestigious selection is a testament to Dr. Sharma’s dedication and the high-quality research being conducted in the department.
