At KMV jalandhar, Autonomous Heritage institution. L/CPL Simran kaur recently participated in a centrally organized drone camp held at Guru Nanak dev engineering college,Ludhiana. It was an immersive experience designed to introduce students to the world of unmanned aerial vehicles. The camp, held from 1jan2026 to 12jan2026, provided hands-on training in drone operation, programming and drone assembly. During the camp, Simran kaur learned to assemble and pilot drones, mastering essential skills such as flight control, navigation, and safety protocols. Participants also explored the technical aspects of drone technology, including the use of GPS, sensors, and camera systems. The highlight of the camp was a proper exam of flying and written exam which showcased their newly acquired skills and in this inter group competition jalandhar group had secured the overall first position . Principal KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the trainings which were a vital part of holistic education . She appreciated the Lt.Sufalica kalia ANO department of NCC for working zealously to came up with a variety of opportunities and activities everyday so that girls can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation. The drone camp not only provided technical training but also fostered teamwork and problem-solving skills. The experience has inspired Simran kaur to further explore the field of drone technology and its potential applications in areas such as environmental monitoring, search and rescue and in defence.
