To promote scientific innovation among school students, the P.G. Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous & Heritage Institution), Jalandhar organized a mentoring program on November 29, 2024 for over 70 students of Sanskriti KMV School. The session introduced students to innovative projects, technologies, and facilities at the college’s Innovation Hub, a collaborative space for creative exploration and problem-solving. Demonstrations of experiments such as Newton’s Cradle, Air Cannon, Lorentz Oscillator, motion on an inclined plane, and energy transfer in springs enhanced their conceptual understanding. Students actively participated in hands-on activities and learned about the ideation and implementation process of scientific models. The visit received an enthusiastic response, with students appreciating the practical learning experience.
