Kanya Maha Vidyalaya proudly announces that Haramanpreet Kaur, a 5-year integrated M.Sc. Physics student and SERB project research scholar, has received a prestigious $2,500 travel grant to present her research in Vancouver, Canada. She has been awarded this grant by the organizers of the ACerS Glass and Optical Materials Division Meeting, scheduled from May 4–9, 2025. Her research abstract titled “Terahertz and Optical Properties of Different Oxide-Based Glasses” will be presented at this international conference, which brings together leading scientists in glass and optical materials research. This achievement highlights the strong research culture of KMV’s P.G. Department of Physics and reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering global scientific engagement and innovation.
