PG Department of Chemistry, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar, under the aegis of CURIE grant has organised National Chemistry Week-2022 (NCW) with the theme “Fabulous fibres” from 16th-22nd October 2022.NCW is a public awareness campaign that promotes the value of chemistry in everyday life. Various activities have been organized throughout this week like poster presentation competition, online quiz and an extension lecture. More than 900 Students from different states of India participated enthusiastically in online Quiz and 150 students in poster presentation competition. 200 participants have attended the extension lecture delivered by Dr. Sachin Kumar, Assistant Professor in Dept. of Apparel and Technology, GNDU Amritsar in both online and offline mode.
