The Autonomous and Heritage institution, KanyaMahaVidyalaya ranked No 1 College of Punjab & Top National Ranking by India Today, Outlook Magazine and Times of India Group-2021 organised Poster making competitions on 16th September 2021 to celebrate “WORLD OZONE DAY”with theme “Montreal Protocol – Keeping us, our food and vaccines cool”.
The event was organised by the PG Department of Zoology and Environmental sciences. Every year college grabs opportunity to sensitize students and institutional faculty regarding this vital environmental issue. Around 60 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the event to showcase their creativity. Students made posters highlighting the significance of life saving ozone layer and Montreal protocol. Among the winners, RobindeepKaur of B.Sc. IT Semester I won the first prize, Roshni and VaaniArora of B.Sc Biotechnology Semester III got Second and third prizes, respectively. DivyaJalota of B.Com Semester III and Molly Ghai of BBA Semester I bagged the consolation prizes.
Professor (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV, College appreciated the contribution of the students and congratulated the faculty of the PG Department of zoology and environmental sciences for organizing the event.
