PG Department of Chemistry, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (The Heritage and Autonomous Institution), Jalandhar organized organized an online quiz to celebrate ‘International Day of Women & Girls in Science-2022’ on 11th February, 2022, with the theme: “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Water Unites Us”, to recognize the role of women and girls in science, not only as beneficiaries, but also as agents of change, including in view of accelerating progress towards the achievement of SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). Total 150 students participated in the event from all over India andreceived e-certificates. Dr. Manju Sahni, head of department extended her vote of thanks to all participants. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the endeavour taken by PG Department of Chemistry for organizing such events.
