The department of Home Science, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, celebrated the National Nutrition Week from Sept. 1^st – Sept. 7^th, 2022.  Keeping in mind the theme of the year, ‘Celebrate the World of Flavours’, various activities were conducted in the department.Objective of the programme was to create awareness regarding the importance of healthy diet and nutrition along with different flavours among students. Diet clinic was organised by the students of B.Voc. (Nutrition, Exercise and Health). During diet clinic, diet counselling was done and diet charts were given to the interested faculty and students. After that, Cafeteria was conductedin which South Indian platter was the point of attraction. Cooking competition of nutrient dense recipes and quiz competition were also conducted.
