Dr. Sriganesh Prabhu, Professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, visited the campus of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar, and interacted with faculty members and research scholars of the PG Department of Physics. Dr.Prabhu was warmly welcomed by Dr.Neetu Verma, Head, PG Department of Physics. Dr.Neetu Verma briefed the visiting expert about the academic and research initiatives of the department, ongoing funded research projects, and the advanced experimental facilities available to research scholars.During his visit, Dr.Prabhu toured the Innovation Hub of the Physics Department and the Research Laboratory. He highly appreciated the well-organized infrastructure, modern instrumentation, and the innovative learning environment created through the Innovation Hub. He commended the department for fostering creativity, research-oriented thinking, and hands-on experimentation among students and scholars, and described the Innovation Hub as a valuable platform for nurturing scientific curiosity and interdisciplinary innovation.

Dr. Prabhu held detailed discussions with the research scholars, during which they presented their research work and experimental findings. He provided valuable feedback, constructive suggestions, and technical insights to help strengthen the quality and direction of their research. An interactive discussion session was also conducted, allowing scholars to seek guidance on research methodology, experimental design, and future prospects.
