PG department of Chemistry,Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (The Heritage and Autonomous Institution), Jalandhar in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized a National Level Poster making competition to celebrate World Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) day under Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi on 26^thApril 2022. The goal of the event is to create awareness of the law which provides rights to researchers for their innovative research and patents in academic and industrial front they create. The young learners displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters.Around 60 students participated in this competition with full enthusiasm from across the country and e-certificates were provided to students for participation. First position bagged by bracketed Simranjeet Singh, Govt. College, Ropar, Khushpreet, KMV, Jalandhar, second position by bracketed Kanjule Shraddha, SDM Newasa, Tanu Sharma, KMV Jalandhar and third position by Kadam Jayesh, BKC Nashik, Naziya Malik, KMV Jalandhar. Consolation prizes were also given to participants bracketed Aarti, CR college of Education, Poonamjit Kaur, KMV Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the endeavour taken by PG Department of Chemistry adding that this is important for students who want to pursue research in future, and it should be regular feature in the curriculum.
