Kanya Maha Vidyalaya celebrated World Quantum Day on April 15, 2025 under the National Quantum Mission, with around 100 science students participating enthusiastically. Organized by the Department of Physics, the event aimed to deepen understanding of quantum mechanics and its technological relevance.Dr.NeetuVerma inspired students to adopt research-oriented thinking, highlighting quantum mechanics as the backbone of modern innovations in computing, communication, and materials science. Harmeet Kaur (M.Sc. Semester IV) delivered an insightful presentation on “Quantum Transport,” explaining MOSFET miniaturization and the transition from classical to quantum regimes. B.Sc. Semester IV students showcased projects on quantum tunneling, cryptography, lasers, and LEDs, while Dr.Sangeeta Prasher elaborated on electron spin and its role in quantum technology.The celebration served as a dynamic platform for academic exchange, fostering curiosity and strengthening the institute’s research-driven culture.
