The Postgraduate Department of Physics at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya hosted an enlightening lecture titled “Breaking Barriers: Glass Science for Tomorrow” by Arun Varshneya, President of The Society of Glass Technology. Popularly known as the “Glass Guru,” he shared visionary insights into the transformative role of glass in renewable energy, electronics, architecture, and biomedical fields. He explained advanced concepts such as chemical strengthening of glass and its application in products like EpiPen cartridges, while emphasizing the interdisciplinary and future-oriented nature of glass research. The session, followed by an engaging Q&A, inspired students and faculty alike, highlighting KMV’s commitment to global academic exposure and cutting-edge scientific learning.
