Faculty of Visual & Performing Arts (Post Graduate Programmes)

The programme aims at polishing a student’s talent of Drawing and Painting. It practically enriches the student with all the possibilities in the field of Drawing and Painting along with the theoretical aspect of the subject like History of Art, Aesthetic, Modern Art etc. One can be self-employed and work in these areas such as glass painting, tattoo designing, conventional canvas painting, pot painting etc. There are equal opportunities in both the Government and Private fields. One can be Visiting Artist, Commercial Artist, Muralist, Painter, Teacher etc.

Graduation with 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in Subject concerned

    • Aesthetics and Principles of Art Appreciation
    • History of Indian Art (2nd Century B.C to 12th Century A.D)
    • Landscape Painting (Practical)
    • Creative Composition (Practical)

    • IDEC1101: Effective Communication Skill
    • IDEM1362: Basics of Music (Vocal)
    • IDEH1313: Human Rights and Constitutional Duties
