Faculty of Visual & Performing Arts (Post Graduate Programmes)

This programme acquaints the students with the technicalities of Indian instruments and instils in them the confidence needed for stage performance or to provide music score for TV or Cinema. Teaching and Research are the other available options.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty with 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject concerned or equivalent examination OR
Master’s degree of GNDU or another University in another subject and in another faculty OR
Music upto B.A. level will not be compulsory for admission to M.A(Music). The admission may be made on the basis of aptitude & Skill test and having 50% aggregate marks at B.A. level.
Provided that For M.A.Music (Instrumental) examination, only regular candidate shall be eligible.
