    This impressive state-of-the-art Administrative Block , the Pride of the institution , greets as one enters the portals of KMV. Artistically designed and meticulously planned , this block adds to the aesthetic appeal of the campus. The double-storeyed building houses the Principal’s Office, Administrative Office , Visitors’ Room , Visitors’ Lounge and Reception Counter at the ground floor.     Bathed in the purity of white colour, the building of Arts Block is the heart of the Vidyalaya. The block houses several departments of the Faculty of Humanities like PG Dept. of English, PG Dept. of Music & Dance, History, Punjabi, Political Science & Public Administration, Philosophy, Sociology, Fine Arts, Home Science, Physical Education.     In the present Hi-Tech and computer savy scenario, Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Business Administration is making ceaseless efforts to keep pace with the changing trends. To impart holistic and quality education to the students, the department is equipped with Smart Class Room, OHPs and multimedia projectors. Besides class room teaching, the students are provided additional notes through e-content programmes. To keep the students abreast of latest developments in the field of commerce and industry, there is a reading room in the department with various journals and newspapers like Business World, Competition Success Review, Economic Times, Employment News, Dalal Street, Journal of Finance and Capital Market etc. Students can have ready access to internet and SPSS in the computer lab.     Hi-tech, centrally air-conditioned, acoustically treated and fitted with the latest audio-visual facilities, the college auditorium has a capacity to accommodate 2000 students.     Founded in 1886, KMV boarding house, ‘Kanya Ashram’, as it was popularly called, is situated within the precincts of the college. Located in lush green and eco-friendly surroundings, the hostel has a provision of accommodation for about 800 girl students.
