KanyaMahaVidyalaya(Autonomous), a premier institution with a glorious legacy of empowering women through education, celebrated its remarkable and glorious legacy of 140 years of excellence with a captivating dramatic presentation titled “Kanya Maha Vidyalaya: Samajik Chetna va Netritvaki Gatha.” The performance beautifully portrayed the rich history, visionary foundationand enduring legacy of the institution.The concept and vision for this grand presentation were conceived by DirectorProf. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, whose commitment to preserving and showcasing KMV’s heritage served as the guiding force behind the production. The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed guests, including Mr. ChanderMohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, Dr. Sushma Chawla, Vice President, KMV Managing Committee, Mrs. Neerja Chander Mohan, Dr. Satpal Gupta, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Member, KMV Managing Committee, among others who all highly appreciated the presentation.The presentation traced KMV’s journey from its inception to its evolution as a beacon of social awareness and leadership. It highlighted the institution’s pivotal role in women’s empowerment, its contributions to the freedom struggle, and its continued dedication to academic excellence and nation-building.The students delivered powerful and heartfelt performances, bringing historical figures and moments to life with great conviction. Harmonjot Kaur impressed the audience with her portrayal of Bhagat Singh, while Manvir Kaur showcased her versatility by enacting both Sushila Didi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Navjot Kaur gave a compelling performance as Lajjawati Ji, Mitali Dhiman portrayed Savitri Devi with grace, and Tanveet Kaur effectively depicted Lala Dev Raj Ji. The narration by Ms. Radhika seamlessly connected the episodes, adding depth and coherence to the presentation.The performance was widely appreciated for its artistic excellence, historical authenticity, and emotional resonance. It not only celebrated KMV’s illustrious past but also inspired the audience to carry forward its legacy of social consciousness and leadership.The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of the organizing team and the students, whose dedication and creativity made the celebration truly memorable.
