Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous)marked National Youth Day by commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with a vibrant series of youth-centric activities aimed at fostering self-belief, discipline, fitness, and nation-building among students. In alignment with the Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines, KMV actively participated in the nationwide outreach initiative to sensitise young minds to the ideals of Swadeshi, Atmanirbhar Bharat, physical fitness, teamwork, and national unity, drawing inspiration from Swami Vivekananda’s timeless teachings. As part of the observance, the institution conducted motivational talks, disseminated messages on self-reliance and Swadeshi values, registered students, and distributed certificates. The activities were designed to encourage maximum student engagement and to build a sense of collective responsibility among the youth, reflecting the national call to action for higher education institutions to observe the day in a befitting manner. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students reinforcing KMV’s commitment to holistic education that blends academic excellence with character-building and civic consciousness. Moreover, students who performed brilliantly in these activities were felicitated by Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Prof. Dwivedi averred that by celebrating National Youth Day through meaningful, action-oriented programmes, KMV reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing empowered, disciplined, and socially responsible citizens inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
