Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated World Water Dayunder the 2026 World Water Day theme, “Where water flows, equality grows,” which highlights safe water and sanitation as human rights and their link to gender equality. The event was organised by the Department of Zoology & Environmental Sciences. On this occasion,poster-making and awareness sessions were organised in order to sensitise students about water conservation, sustainable use of water resources, and the importance of ensuring clean and equal access to water for all. More than 50 students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity and concern for environmental sustainability. The sessions proved informative and inspiring, encouraging students to adopt responsible practices for water conservation. Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged students to stay connected with such environmental initiatives in future. She congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Dean Student Welfare Dr. Madhumeet Kaur, Dean Life Sciences Dr. Manju  Sahni,  Dr. Archana Saini, Head of Zoology and EVS Department, Lt.
