In a major boost to student innovation and self-reliance, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has successfully integrated Entrepreneurship as a core subject across its various academic programs. By embedding creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking directly into the curriculum, the institution is actively shifting the educational paradigm toward business creation. Under this initiative, students receive comprehensive, end-to-end support from dedicated mentors who guide them through the entire business lifecycle—right from the initial stage of idea generation to the successful official registration of their start-ups. This systematic approach has yielded remarkable real-world results, culminating in a total of 53 start-ups nurtured by the institution. Reflecting the immediate impact of this curriculum integration, 31 students successfully launched their own small ventures during the academic session alone. These student-led enterprises span a diverse range of creative industries, including culinary arts, confectionery, customised handicrafts, and fine arts. Speaking on this landmark achievement, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Director stated: “Our vision has always been to empower our students to become job creators rather than job seekers. By integrating entrepreneurship directly into our curriculum, we are providing young women with the resources, mentorship, and confidence required to transform their creative ideas into sustainable business ventures.
