Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a Rakhi Making & Thali Making Competition to mark the celebrations of Raksha Bandhan. The activity was organised jointly by Department of Student Welfare. The motive of organising this event was to create an awareness amongst our students for Eco Friendly Products. Under the competition, various events namely Eco-friendly/Hand made rakhi making and Thali making were organised. In the current scenario, where environmental hazards have adversely affected our health and welfare, this initiative by KMV witnessed an overwhelming participation of  students. Students made rakhis of cereals, pulses, cotton, match sticks and several other eco-friendly products.Principal Prof Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the participants for their skills, talent, creativity and for their invaluable contribution towards the environmental conservation. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare& other faculty members for the successful organisation of this event.
