KMV is committed to nurturing intellectual growth, creativity and leadership among students: Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of Chemistry organised a significant event celebrating International Youth Day at Pushpa Gujral Science City. As part of the celebrations, 20 students from various disciplines participated in a Youth Discussion Forum, focusing on “AI and Jobs: Opportunities and Challenges”. The discussion forum provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful conversations about the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the job market. Participants presented their arguments on both the pros and cons of AI in the workforce, exploring topics such as job displacement, skill enhancement, and the creation of new job opportunities. The event aimed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills among the youth. By discussing the implications of AI on employment, students gained valuable insights into the future of work and the importance of adapting to technological advancements. Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students. She averred that KMV is committed to organising such events that promote intellectual growth, creativity, and leadership skills among the students. She further maintained that the PG Department of Chemistry strives to create an environment that encourages students to explore complex issues, think critically, and develop well-informed perspectives. Madam Principal lauded the effort of Dr Manju Sahni, Head, PG Department of Chemistry and Dr Narinderjit Kaur for successfully organising the event.
