Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always work for the holistic development of the students. Recently, students of Department of Bio-Technology went for industrial training at CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur and Verka Milk Plant, Jalandhar. During the training, students had good hands-on experience for Plant Tissue Culture and Molecular Biology Techniques including maintenance of aseptic environment, sterilization of media, culture room and explant, media preparation, callus culture, micropropagation, estimation of fat content in milk, MBRT Test, pasteurization and many more.It is pertinent to mention that trainings at research institutions and industries sharpen the research skillsof the students and also provided them with best hands-on experience.Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, appreciated students for participating in trainings at such eminent research institutions and industries. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Department of Biotechnology for successfully organizing the visit.
