The department of psychology ventures to prepare students for undertaking their professional expedition in the ever growing, multifaceted and diverse field of Psychology. Importance is given to cultivate the skills and attitude in students which are required to become competent and considerate psychologists with positive attitude, critical thinking and social sensitivity.
Highlights
- KMV Signed an MOU with Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary which will include exchange of students, faculty, joint research activities and publications and exchange of academic materials. Moreover, the students of KMV will be able to attend a semester at Eotvos Lorand University during their Master’s programme.
- Workshop by Dr. Robert Urban, Professor in Health Psychology from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary was organized by Department of Psychology, KMV Jalandhar in March, 2019.
- Workshop by Dr. Katalin Felvinczi, Professor from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary was organized by Department of Psychology, KMV Jalandhar in March, 2020.
- Under the student exchange Program, students of the Psychology from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary, spent quality time at KMV in learning and research activities.

- A Counseling Cell is run by the Department which provides the required guidance and counseling to students, both day scholars as well as hostlers.
