KMV celebrates World Ozone Day with full zeal and enthusiasm

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous)celebrated World Ozone Day to sensitise students regarding global environmental issues.To mark the celebrations, Department of Student Welfare & KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organisedweek long activities in which various activities organised namely a tree plantation drive in which students adopted and also planted trees, and moreover, an awareness rally was also organised by the students in order to make the students aware about the importance of ozone layer protection. The celebrations culminated with the poser making activity during which the students made beautiful posters depicting the message of ozone protection. Students from all streams participated in these events to showcase the creativity depicting environmental problems and also showcased the significance of life saving ozone layer and measures to prevent global warming. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi graced the occasion with her presence and lauded the efforts of the students and teachers for their participation and efforts. She averred that it is the social responsibility of every citizen to make the environment clean and green.She further maintained that it is very important that younger generation should be made responsible towards the environment conservation. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Dr Gurjot, Head, Department of Hindi & Dr. Monica Sharma for successfully organising the celebrations.
