P.G. Department of Economics organized the online Inter college essay writing competition on the topic “India’s transition to green economy-challenges and pathways ahead”. Nine students from different colleges participated in the competition. The students presented their views on green economy and its solution to India’s slowdown that would make the green growth of India by adopting green energy, green mobility and green farming. Loveleen Kaur from DAV college stood first in the essay writing competition, Ishleen kaur from KMV college bagged second position, Keshav and Amritjit kaur from Lyallpur Khalsa college jointly bagged third position.
