Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 College  in India by India Today Ranking (Various Categories) has always been endeavouring for the holistic development of the personality of the students. In furtherance of this mission, an industrial visit to Gardex India Private Limited, Kapurthala was organized for the students of 10+2 commerce of KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School. The trip was organized by the department of commerce. During this industrial visit, students witnessed the operational aspect of production and manufacturing of tools such as chisels and bolsters. The HR Manager, Mr. Neeraj highlighted all details from start of production to packing of finished products, thereby supplementing the theoretical knowledge of students with practical exposure. The process of manufacturing and assembling was also explained to the students in detail. The students were given practical as well as theoretical knowledge & the students found the entire interaction and sessions very interactive & interesting. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such visits are must for students of any stream as these trips enrich learning experiences and they also leave a lasting impression on the minds of the students. She further maintained that educational trips give chance to the students to build closer bond with their classmates and to experience new environments. She lauded the efforts of the department of Commerce for organizing this educational trip.
