The P.G. Department of Psychology promotes an in-depth understanding of human behavior and its underlying principles. The department places a strong emphasis on research and has developed MOOCs focused on advancing knowledge in psychological research methods and applications. International exposure is provided to students through extension lectures and webinars conducted by faculty from renowned foreign universities, fostering a global academic perspective.A dedicated Counseling Cell functions within the department, providing guidance and psychological support to students.
In addition, the department promotes interdisciplinary learning, community engagement, and field-based experiences, helping students apply psychological principles in real-world contexts. It equips students with strong inquisitive, analytical, and research-oriented skills, preparing them for careers in academia, clinical practice, counseling, and organizational settings.
