Students of College and Collegiate Participate in Various Activities with Full Zeal &Enthusiasm

 

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories)& Outlook Magazine celebrated World Earth Day. The celebrations were organised by Department of Student Welfare& Department of Environmental Science. During the celebrations, various activities such as poster making, slogan writing& video making etc. were organised for the students of college as well as collegiate. The students through their posters and slogans gave a message of reducing pollution, improving air quality and also to improve surroundings by making the Mother Earth clean & green.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi on this occasion also distributed planters to the faculty members.Students namely Ankita, Arzoo, Pranavchit, Daljit, Anjali, Sandeep, Kesar & Diksha shared their videos giving the message of environment conservation. The posters prepared by Sakshi, Kirandeep, Mishthi, Simran&Yashleen were appreciated a lot. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the students & faculty members for this unique initiative. She averred that it is very important that the society understands the importance of environment conservation. She averred that all the students should remain in connect with this type of activities in the future also so that more awareness could be generated for this cause. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare & Head, PG Department of English, Mrs Sadhna Tandon, Head, Department of Environmental Science& Ms Sufalica for successfully organising the celebrations.
