Neeraj Chopra has made the whole Nation proud of his historic achievement: Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No. 1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey- 2021 celebrated the historic accomplishment of winning gold medal in javelin throw by Neeraj Chopra at the Olympic Games 2020 held in Tokyo. The celebration was organised by Department of Physical Education & KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School. KMV rejoiced the success of Neeraj and expressed the immense pride as KMV is an institution with a strong sports wing which has won trophies in sports for thirteen consecutive years. Students from various streams during the celebration designed beautiful posters and unleashed their creativity and hailed the athlete’s win with full enthusiasm and zeal. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such inspiring performances are remembered for a long time to come and will inspire generations. She remarked that sportsmanship is to be inculcated in students from an early stage in order to make sure that students become disciplined in life. Madam Principal congratulated Neeraj Chopra on his historic achievement. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Davinder and Mrs Veena Deepak, Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate School and other faculty members for organising such a meaningful activity.
