Kanya Maha Vidyalaya ( Autonomous) is organising ‘Diwali Extravaganza’ Exhibition-cum-Sale on 15-10-2022 like every year. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the event will be inaugurated at 11:00 a.m. and will witness the august presence of Mr Devinder Singh (IAS), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, Mr. Chandar Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal. Dr. Sushma Chawla, Vice President, KMV Managing Committee, Mr. Alok Sondhi, General Secretary, KMV Managing Committee Dr. Sushma Chawla, Secretary, KMV Managing Committee,Mrs. Neerja Chandra Mohan and all the Honourable Members of KMV Management Committee. The event will witness the creativity of Post Graduate Department of Fashion Designing, Cosmetology Department, Fine Arts Department, Journalism and Mass Communication Department & will provide an appropriate platform to the artistic intellect of the students of the Department of Textile Design and Apparel Technology, Department of Retail Management and Department of Hospitality and Tourism running under the aegis of DDU Kaushal Kendra. Madam Principal further maintained that in view of the Diwali festivities, besides the sweets and various delicacies prepared by the students in this exhibition-cum-sale, lamps, jewellery, gift items, suits, sarees, jute bags, towel sets, kurtis, table runners , gel candles, epoxy crafts, herbal soaps, various home decor items, jute bags, sustainable vegetable bags, gift items, etc. will be displayed on sale. At the same time, Prof. Dwivedi invited all the residents of the city to join in this exhibition-cum-sale. Madam Principal congratulated the whole organising committee and also hoped that the event would reach new heights of success this time as always.
