In order to make KMV students globally employable, KMV runs Job Readiness Course in association with Industry Professionals. Principal Prof. (Dr.)Atima Sharma Dwivedi introduced the relevance of Job Readiness Program in today’s competitive world and encouraged the students to learn minutely from the experts as this training program is designed to make KMV students globally employable. She emphasised that KMV runs Job Readiness Course in association with Industry Professionals along with college faculty wherein the students of Semester Fifth of Professional Programs like – BCA, BSc(IT), BBA, B.Com, BSc(Biotech), MSc FYIP(Maths), MAFYIP (Eng) are trained on various modules ranging from Resume Building to Mock Interviews. The objective of this Value-Added course is to enhance students’ professional communication skills and job readiness. Under this initiative, a very insightful session was organised for the participants. The session was conducted by Mr. Om Kanaujia–Founder Alar Solutions – Microsoft Partner who explained Group Discussion and Interviews thoroughly. The session aimed to prepare final-year students for professional challenges by strengthening their personality, communication skills, group discussion capabilities, and interview readiness, while introducing innovative AI-based tools to simulate real-world professional environments. Mr. Kanoujia also highlighted that personality comprises three interrelated components: body, mind, and attitude. The body includes physical presence, attire, and posture; the mind governs expressions, gestures, and clarity of thought; and attitude reflects one’s approach toward work, challenges, and personal growth. The session also included a series of mock interviews where students answered questions related to self-introduction, suitability for a job, internship experiences, challenges faced, and handling failures. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dean Placement Cell Dr. Suman Khurana and her team for wonderfully organising this Specialised Value-Added Program complementing that the program successfully equipped students with the confidence, skills, and readiness required to face interviews and group discussions, fulfilling the objectives of the Job Readiness Program and ensuring students are well-prepared for future career opportunities.
