As part of the national initiative Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, dynamic mentoring sessions were organized by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Kendriya Vidyalaya-2, Kendriya Vidyalaya-3, Govt. High School, Rohjari, Jalandhar under the Development of Innovation Culture and Entrepreneurship Program (DICE). The sessions were conducted by Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Convenor, KMV-IIC, Dr. Rashmi Bindra and Dr. Sandeep Saggu who brought their expertise in innovation, equity, and entrepreneurship to guide students through the ideation and prototyping process. During the sessions, students engaged in interactive discussions, design-thinking exercises, and real-world problem identification. The resource persons emphasized the importance of aligning creativity with national priorities and inspired students to think critically, act collaboratively, and innovate responsibly. The objectives of conducting mentoring sessions under the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 were to introduce students to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, foster creativity and problem-solving through design-thinking methods, and align their innovations with national priorities of self-reliance, sustainability, and inclusivity. Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi commended the initiative and emphasized that such engagements play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds, strengthening their innovative capacities, and preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s developmental vision. She further maintained that this initiative reflects KMV’s commitment to nurturing future-ready citizens and reinforces the vision of a Viksit Bharat—a developed, self-reliant India by 2047.
