Mr Pallab Bose, Prominent Motivational Speaker &Show Anchor Delivers Talk During Webinar
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories)organized a webinar onDesign Your Career, Tailor Your Dreams. The webinar was organized by the PG Department of Fashion Designingwhich is ranked again topmost in ‘Best Value for Money Category’ in India and amongst Top 30 colleges of India as per India Today Survey 2020. The main motive behind this webinar was to give the students an overview of the Fashion industry in times to come and how to enhance prospects of Career building and Goal setting during these Covid-hit times. The guest speaker for the webinar was Mr Pallab Bose, Career Coach, Motivational Speaker, Soft skills trainer & Show Anchor. During the webinar, Mr Bose shared the 5 principles of ‘Life-University’ with the students and with the help of various anecdotes explained the concepts of life and career building to the students in a very interesting and simple manner. He also shared a PowerPoint presentation with the students with the story ‘Who moved my Cheese’ by Spencer Johnson. This motivational story is especially relevant during the present times. He elucidated that “ If you do not change, you can become extinct!”He also explained the importance of a goal or the ambition in one’s life as he said that if a person has a clear goal and ambition in his mind and if he is focused towards his or her goal then no power on earth can stop him or her from achieving that goal. He also guided the students as to how to make a vibrant career in fashion and glamour industry and focused on the various prerequisites required to make a good career in the fashion industry. Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has empowered the women by giving them the required skills in fashion designing and other disciplines so that they should become self reliant in this highly competitive world. She maintained that this type of webinar is very essential for the students as it gives them a very accurate information regarding the skills required to make a powerful career in the fashion world as it motivate the students to follow their dreams fearlessly &confidently.
