A student endeavorto create innovation and entrepreneurship awareness in the campus

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) in order to promote entrepreneurial and innovative spirit among students, organized Business Idea Presentation Competition. The competition was organized by Womentum Club of KMV IIC. The objective of conducting the Business Idea Competition was to provide a meaningful learning experience for the students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity at some point in their careers and to foster the culture of innovation among the students, to motivate them to initiate for startups and to promote awareness as per the goals of IIC. An overwhelming response was received and around 9 teams registered for the competitionand the participants exhibited great enthusiasm. First position was bagged by the team ‘Entrepreneurs’, the team ‘Coco Straw’ attained second position& the third position was attained by two teams, ‘Creative Thinkers’ and ‘Golden Era Friends Gathering’. Consolation prize was also received by two teams, ‘Peak Performers’ and ‘AjooniKaram’. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the main focus of conducting this competition was to benefit the students to establish their business plans and to create a roadmap of goals that will not only help the students to determine the vision of their business but also guide them as to how they can pursue it. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of the students and also encouraged them to come up with more entrepreneurial endeavors. She also lauded the efforts of Dr. Rashmi Sharmaand the team members for taking such initiatives. The competition was judged by Dr. Neeraj Maini, Ms. Chetna Nayyar and Dr. Sandeep Kaur Saggu.
