Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Ms. Rimpy Mehra, Lecturer in the PG Department of Psychology, has successfully qualified the highly competitive GATE 2025 Psychology examination in her very first attempt. Ms. Mehra’s exceptional performance is highlighted by her impressive All India Rank (AIR), a testament to her dedication and academic prowess. Currently serving as a KMV’s faculty, Ms. Mehra’s achievement in GATE 2025 further underscores her commitment to excellence in the field of Psychology. In addition to this significant milestone, both Ms. Rimpy Mehra and Dr. Sharanjit Kaur, Head of the PG Department of Psychology have recently enhanced their academic profiles by successfully completing MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) certifications. These courses are designed by SWAYAM, a prestigious program initiated by the Government of India, aimed at providing affordable and quality education to all. Dr. Sharanjit Kaur has successfully completed her course in “Basics of Mental Health and Clinical Psychiatry,” conducted by NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning). Ms. Rimpy Mehra has demonstrated her commitment to continuous learning by completing two valuable MOOC courses. She has successfully finished “Psychological Research,” conducted by UGC NTA (University Grants Commission – National Testing Agency), and “Basics of Mental Health and Clinical Psychiatry,” also conducted by NPTEL. These certifications showcase her diverse skill set and commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in psychological research and mental health.
