REPORT –ONLINE INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION

CHARISMA-2020

Under the visionary leadership of worthy Principal Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar organized its annual mega event CHARISMA-2020 Inter-School Competition held on 27^th December, 2020.

During this unprecedented time, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School took the initiative to organise this Inter-School Competition on an online platform, so as to channelize the hidden potential of students in the most creative ways.

More than 200 students of 18 schools across and around Jalandhar participated enthusiastically. Competitions in various events were organized namely:

Solo Dance, Solo Song, Rangoli, Tickle Your Funny Bone, Poster-making, Photography, Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita, Scientific Aptitude, Business tycoons, Sudoku-the mind game, and Net Savvy.

In the virtual Award Ceremony for CHARISMA-2020, held on January 2^nd, worthy Principal Ma’am very graciously welcomed all the distinguished guests i.e. Principals, teachers-incharge and students of various Institutions who took part in this mega-event. Madam Principal then addressed all the students and encouraged them to participate actively in such events which enhance the personality of students, build-up their confidence and promote a spirit of healthy competition.

The Award-Ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Glimpses of various events were shown followed by the declaration of the result of the events.

Results of various events are as follows…

1. Solo Dance Competition:

1^st position goes to Dhriti, Class 12^th, APJ School, Jalandhar.

2. Solo Song Competition:

1^st position goes to Shyana, Class +2 (Arts), St. Soldier Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.

3          Rangoli

1^st position goes to Rukhsar Praveen, Class 10^th, Arya Model Sr. Sec. School, Phagwara.

4. Tickle Your Funny Bone

1^st position goes to Rupali Manhas, Class +2 (Arts), KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.

5. Poster Making

1^st position goes to Dilpreet Kaur, Class +1, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.

6. Scientific Aptitude

1^st position goes to Dhruv Malhotra, Class 10^th; Palak Malhotra, Class 9^th, Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar.

7. Photography

1^st position goes to Komalpreet, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar

8. Sanskrit Sulekh Pratiyogita

1^st position goes to Khwahish, Class 10^th, International Public School, Ludhiana.

9. Business Tycoons

1^st position goes to Rajdeep, Class +1 (Commerce), KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar.

10. Sudoku: The Mind Game

1^st position goes to Manmeet, Class 9^th, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.

11. Net Savvy

1^st position goes to Kirat Rekhi, Class +1, Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar.

The overall winner trophy of CHARISMA-2020 was bagged by DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.

The runners-up trophy was shared by Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar and Sanskriti KMV School.

Madam Principal then congratulated all the winners of various events and wished them good luck for their bright future. She thanked madam Veena Deepak, Head PG Department (Maths), Coordinator of KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School and her team for successfully organizing such a mega-event every year; a special thanks was extended to Dr. Madhumeet, Head PG Department (English) and Dean Student Welfare; Dr. Gurjot, Head PG Department (Social Sciences) and Incharge of Extra-Curricular Activities; Madam Parminder Head PG Department (Physics) and Vice Principal KMV College, Jalandhar. Madam Principal, once again expressed her gratitude towards various Schools for their participation and making CHARISMA-2020 such a great success.

The final vote of thanks was extended by Madam Veena Deepak, Coordinator KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar to all the schools, who participated in this mega-event and made it a huge success.
