Students & Faculty from Hungary Visits KMV Under Exchange Program Participate & Contribute to Various Causes Undertake Field Visits

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 College  in India by India Today Ranking (Various Categories) always endeavours for the overall development of the students. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi had signed an MOU in 2017 with the top ranking Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary. MOU includes exchange of students, faculty, joint research activities and publications and exchange of academic materials et al. Under this MOU each year faculty from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary visit KMV. This year two students Ms Julie Daae and Ms Heidi Kristine have come to KMV  along with a faculty member named Dr Katalin Felvinczi, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education & Psychology, Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary. These two students are pursuing Post Graduate Studies in Psychology at Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary, which has the honour of being one of the leading universities of Psychology across the globe. These scholars are attending Post Graduate classes in Psychology at KMV and have also undertaken joint projects with students of KMV. They also participated in various social outreach programs and also gone to villages with KMVites. They have wholeheartedly contributed to the activity of Water Warriors, in which KMVites performed a Nukkad Natak on the theme Save Water in village Sheike. The students also interacted with the village women to discuss their health related issues. They have been regularly visiting various hospitals and villages for the purpose of their research work as they want to have an understanding of the health and clinical settings in India & Hungary. They have visited various villages, viz, Dalla, Karari and Sadana. They have also given various tips to the people for enhancing their physical and mental well being. They have also been interacting with various physicians and surgeons to have an idea about the work scenario in Indian hospitals. They also did individual and group counselling of students of KMV. During their stay at KMV hostel they have become well versed with the Indian culture. They have also started relishing the Indian cuisine and grown particularly fond of Indian dresses such as sarees and punjabi suits. Ms Julie Daae averred about her KMV visit “It has been a very eventful, fruitful, enlightening and intellectually satiating visit.”
